NEW FOR 2012, the Gio TXX all-terrain vehicle (ATV) brings the look of Gio’s slick ATV lineup to the next level! This full-size 250cc quad has a unique look that is sure to turn heads wherever it goes – the track, the trails, the beach, the mountains – everywhere. Like something straight out of Terminator, resembling a futuristic robot supercar hybrid, the aesthetics of the TXX are downright amazing – it is one of the coolest ATV’s you’ll ever lay eyes on. From the sleek and sharp fender and body shape to the over-under double-barrel headlight design to the matte black custom paint finish, there is nothing ordinary about the TXX.

The front body area of the TXX is highly unique compared to most ATVs – in addition to the over-under double-barrel headlights you’ll notice matte black axle guards, sleek white adjustable long-travel suspension and open-flow engine compartment design for increased air cooling. Other unique body features of the TXX include beautiful 6-spoke double-reinforced chrome 21” (front) and 20” (rear) wheels. It’s almost a crime to get these beauties muddy – but the Off-Road Edition of the TXX handles that task well. The deep-tread off-road grips on the Off-Road Edition are perfect for handling any tough terrain – dirt, mud, rocks, boulders, streams, gravel – whatever you want to throw at it. The high-riding TXX offers riders a great perspective over their surroundings and a smooth, bump-reducing ride. In contrast to the Matte Racing Edition, the Off-Road Edition is perfect for riders who prefer adventure and exploring – not letting what’s on the ground stop them. If you prefer mud over pavement, the Off-Road Edition is your ticket.

The internals of the TXX are not easily overlooked either! The TXX features a single-cylinder four-stroke air-cooled 250cc Zongshen engine, the newest generation of 250cc engines Gio uses. These new 250cc engines have significant upgrades over our older models, including increased power (11.5 kW @ 7000 rpm) and enhanced compression ratio (9.5:1). Most importantly, the new Zongshen 250cc engine features an internal Balance Shaft to dramatically reduce vibration in all types of operation. This new internal feature has been custom-designed by Gio engineers in response to customer feedback. We heard you – you wanted a smoother ride out of the power plant of your ATV – and we delivered by significantly reducing engine case vibration due to crankshaft and cylinder movement.

Apart from the engine, the ride on the wheels and axles still offers that silky smooth Gio suspension perfromance. The TXX features our standard long-travel dual wishbone hydraulic front 435mm suspension for that forgiving ride. The white aluminum coil-over shocks fit the beautiful futuristic theme of this great vehicle. In the rear, a large standard single 350mm hydraulic coil-over shock suspension system gives great rider cushioning and features adjustability to suit everyone’s needs. Both front and rear suspension feature a piggyback gas reservoir that is adjustable. For all your braking needs, the TXX comes loaded with large hydraulic disc brakes. In the rear, directly attached to the rear axle, is a 200mm single disc hydraulic brake with single piston caliper, providing excellent drive-axle stopping power. In the front, each wheel features a 160mm hydraulic disc brake with single piston caliper.

Rounding out this out-of-this-world ATV are all the standard features you come to expect from a Gio ATV. The transmission features a manual wet multi-plate clutch with four forward gears (plus reverse and neutral). Ignition comes in the form of our reliable CDI modules, ensuring perfect sparking and fuel ignition. The handlebars feature a heads-up electronic display, turn signals, headlights (low and high), front and rear brake levers, clutch lever, and throttle. All the trimmings are of the best quality, including a chrome fuel cap, comfortable foam seat, and easily accessed engine internals for maintenance. A high-strength drive-chain and sprocket system transfer the power from power plant to axle. A beautiful single chrome exhaust muffler brings a throaty intense roar to the TXX that is sure to make it remembered.
