Giobikes.com is Canada’s comprehensive online marketplace and community for affordable recreational lifestyle equipment. With more than 100,000 active members using the unique auction format, GIO prides itself on being a seller-friendly site and an outlet for other businesses and retailers to sell their inventory as part of the online auction.

Getting Started

You don’t have to become a member of GIO to browse and review our listings, unless you would like to purchase or sell merchandise. To get started, review our listings and take note of the relevant product information including description, complete specifications, features, reviews, Q&As, and shipping information. Once you are ready to purchase, or to list your own items, complete the quick and easy registration by clicking here to hook into the GIO community and marketplace.

Buying Merchandise

Once you have registered and have found a product to purchase, you can place a bid on any auction for that product. Your bid amount must exceed the highest bid posted and must be designated to the nearest dollar (partial increments will not be applied – ie: $10 will be accepted, $9.99 will not).

You can use the Watch List feature to track items you’re interested in but not yet ready to bid on. The Watch List closely monitors the status of these items. You may also use the Running Bid History feature to monitor the current bidding history of more than one auction.

GIO’s AutoBid System allows you to enter a maximum bid into the system directly from the search or category page. The AutoBid system will then automatically bid on your behalf without going over your maximum. You will also be able to view your AutoBid amount on the auction page, with the information only visible to you.

If you win an auction, you will receive an email with instructions on how to pay. It is important to have a working email address. By logging on to Giobikes.com, you agree to and accept Giobikes.com's Terms and Conditions and are responsible for reviewing our list of Bidding or Buying Violations

Selling Merchandise

Giobikes.com prides itself on being a seller-friendly site where members can post hyperlinks, phone numbers and URLs to private online stores, websites or even competing sites such as Amazon and eBay.

Sellers are given the freedom to manage the security for all of their auctions and can lock out bidders who place bids too quickly. This enables you to run your auctions hassle-free. All Giobikes.com sellers must have previous online retail or auction experience as well as a legitimate business location and phone number.

Why we are different

Giobikes.com provides live auctions.All auctions have an estimated end time. However, bids that occur within the last 15 seconds will reset the timer back to a fixed 15 seconds. For example, a bid placed in the last five seconds will extend bidding back to 15 seconds.

Giobikes.com currently accepts applications from sellers of powersport equipment, sporting goods (camping gear, outdoors, sporting equipment such as hockey gear and golf clubs), toys and hobbies, and parts/accessories for cars, trucks, ATVs, bikes and related vehicles.
