I just bought a new 2011 49cc gio ATV and it has the twist throttle. I noticed that member sidus_123 stated in a previous question that a throttle limiter could easily be made and installed, I am wondering if sidus_123 or someone else could tell me how?? If not can someone tell me if the thumb throttle from a 110CC ATV would fit onto the 49cc ATV as the 110cc ATV's has the limiter on the thumb throttle section?

How do you tighten the chain, I cant seem to see anything obvious, do you have to take a link out? I sure hope there is an adjustment somewhere.

What is the procedure when the mini atv arrived in a colour other than the one ordered? Haven't received a response from 'support' since the sale was made. Do they just tell you to deal with it?

A: ok. I've done some research I think i may be able to answer my own question. According to the Competition Bureau Canada website, not addressing the wrong colour shipped as opposed to colour advertised is actually considered 'Misleading Advertising and Labelling. My son has been running his brand new pocket atv for about a week but now it wont idle properly. You have to pick up the back end to pullstart it because it wants to take off right away. As soon as it starts the wheels spin and when u put it down it tries to take off if you hold the brake it will stall. The idle is turned down and the throttle cable has been adjusted. Any ideas on what could be wrong?
