Comment:
I have just won an auction for this winch. I live in ON.
Canadian Tire sells this winch for 80 bucks plus tax, BUT they do not include the rollers. The roller kit is another 49 dollars. Same winch. Not North American by a long shot. If i purchase at CT its close to 160 bucks for both winch and roller kit, tax in.
So (example) if you pay 35 auction, plus 10 fee, plus 30 shipping you still come out way ahead.
Shipping can also be reduced significantly if you order multiple items.
I will be mounting it on a 200cc Beast and primary use will be to drag the ATV up on the trailer and possibly get me unstuck every now and then. It will work just fine for this application.
Sure you can get better, but who in their right mind is going to put a 400 dollar winch on a 500 dollar ATV????
I will update on performance once installed.
P.S. I do feel sorry for the utter morons who think a 50 dollar winch is going to pull their 18ft boat up the ramp...aint gonna happen folks.
A: Very good post. Keep them coming ! by admin - Vancouver, British Columbia, 10/01/2009 06:33 PM

Will this winch work on the 110cc mini hummer? and where could i hook it up?
A: This won't work on mini quads because there is not enough battery juice to support it. by admin - Vancouver, British Columbia, 10/01/2009 06:34 PM

A comment...
Winch: maybe about 10 dollars
Shipping: about 30 dollars
Buyer's premium: 50 dollars
Opening the newspaper and finding a North-American made 2000lb winch for 80 dollars: priceless
