im just wondering if this plow will fit a suzuki vinson 500 thanks
A: Snow plow should work on Suzuki however we cannot give you 100% guarantee. You must have a winch to install it. by admin - Vancouver, British Columbia, 02/20/2012 09:48 PM

Winch is complete? What does this mean? Does the kit come with one?

You mention in the overview that the plow bolts/fits to the 300cc bear ATV and the 300cc UTV that you sell. Does it do so with what came in the plow kit, or is there a mounting plate that is optional with the purchase of these atv/utv's? Also I would assume that it would bolt up to the bad boy utility atv's that you used to sell as well, or is there a plate that is optional for specific bikes? Thanks.
A: It DOES NOT bolt up to the BAD BOY !! You will spend time manufacturing a mounting plate. by higherpower_ca - Edmonton, Alberta, 01/10/2010 08:11 AM
A: Uhm, not to be a jerk, but I have a 250 "bad boy" and I used the supplied mount, no problem. Although I did put a couple of welds on it besides clamping it, just to keep things solid. by VinceDrake - Regina, Saskatchewan, 01/13/2010 06:35 PM
A: Thanks for the info. I've get to recieve mine from UPS yet, so I'm trying to research into it ahead of time. Can you post a review of the plow on the bad boy atv? Likes and dislikes? How well does it work, etc? by dothedew - sioux lookout, Ontario, 01/14/2010 08:23 AM
A: I'd like to, but I bought my plow kit and from the old "GiovanniBikes" site. All in all I'm really happy with the combination, overall. With some homemade chains for the rear, it will winrow 8" of snow no problem though. Nice curling action from the blade. Trying to push the same amount of snow straight ahead (No angle) doesn't work remarkably well, as you plain old run out of traction. You get 20-25feet in 8" of snow before you're done. But using it like a grader, it works excellent. We've been clearing our shop parking lot with the 250 and the plow kit for 2 years now, with no issues with either. The only caveat I would mention, if you're running with full lights, and the winch running the blade up and down a lot it *will* kill the battery over time. At low speed there's not a whole lot of charging available on a small motor, at 1500rpm in first gear. :D Mounting the plow kit to a 4x4 ATV would likely give you a little better steering, but I don't think you would push much more snow, at least without chains, or tracks. **One more thing, my machine is a ZMC, not a GIO. The only difference being my machine has a solid rear axle, but the GIO could be made solid with a little time, and a welder-- no problem. Hopefully this is somewhat helpful! by VinceDrake - Regina, Saskatchewan, 01/16/2010 05:29 PM

Just to follow up on the ? of the blade fitting on the beast. Is it that it will not fit on the beast or is it that it is not recommended to use it with the beast. And if it does not fit, does anyone forsee a way to modify either the blade or the beast so it will fit on the beast?????
A: Hello, it won't work on mini beast. You need winch installed first, 200cc beast doesnt have winch. You could probably try to install but lots of work is needed. by admin - Vancouver, British Columbia, 12/13/2009 01:07 PM
A: Also on top of the fact that the atv is also very light to begin with, you would not likely be able to push and amount of snow without either spinning out or snapping chains. by dothedew - sioux lookout, Ontario, 01/04/2010 12:49 PM
A: To get more specific-- In order for the blade to angle side/side the blade needs to stick out a little over a foot in front of the ATV. Personally, I don't think the front shocks would carry the extra weight with the plow in the up position. by VinceDrake - Regina, Saskatchewan, 01/13/2010 06:32 PM

Can this be made to fit a 200cc Beast?
A: This wont work on 200cc beast. You need a 300cc 4x4 Bear ATV, 300cc Ranger UTV, 250cc Bad Boy ATV, 500cc 4x4 Ridge Liner or similar utility quads. by admin - Vancouver, British Columbia, 10/30/2009 03:15 PM
A: Anything can be made to fit, however due to the shape of the frame on the beast atv, it would take some major modifiction to make it fit properly (ie cutting, welding, fabracting new brackets). Also, a winch would have to be utilized as well and be installed to operate the plow. by dothedew - sioux lookout, Ontario, 01/04/2010 12:48 PM

How wide is the blade, and is it able to angle?
A: I purchased one last winter, the blade is about 52" wide (I'll measure tomorrow) and Yes, it does angle, Left/Right, 5 locking postions, a good 35+ degrees at full lock. I'm really happy with it.
