The GIO 500w Electric scooter is the ultimate alternative for commuters that need a quick way to travel but do not want the expense of operating vehicle or motorcycle. Top quality 500w brushless electric engine is standard. Engine is powered by 4 large high power batteries that will last for over 3 years or around 500 recharge times. Scooter can also travel up to 60kms on a single charge.
500w E-Scooter is classified as an electric bicycle (since pedals can be used). You do not have to register it and can also operate w/o any driver license.
GIO E-Scooter is a great tool for commuters or those working on large campuses.

Each e-scooter comes with front and rear lights, mirrors, large seat for 2 riders, large trunk box, soft plush carpet kit for your feet to rest on.
Oversize Seat and Trunk Box. Plenty of storage here. Trunk box is included with the scooter and does not need to be installed.
Key Start and Storage. Easy access storage where you could place your cell phone or ipod or any accessories you may have.

Tax: GST 5% is charged for all orders shipping within AB, SK, MB, Quebec, PEI. HST 12% is charged for BC orders, HST 13% is charged for ON, HST 15% is charged for NB, NS, NL provinces.

Does anyone know if you're allowed to take this on Vancouver's Skytrains?
A: Call customer service at 604-953-3333. I am a bus driver in Surrey, electric sccoters and bikes are not allowed on the buses. The scooters tires are to small for the bus bike racks and the e-bikes are too heavy, a hard brake by the bus and inertia will launch your bike quicker than an angry bird. by popsidoodle - Surrey, British Columbia, 10/02/2012 11:17 AM
A: Very good questions but not too sure. These are considered power assisted bikes so technically if they allow bicycle then they must allow this scooter as well, unless they have some sort of size limitation that you can bring into the cart.

A: Personal Mobility Scooters, three or four wheeled and wheelchairs are allowed on buses because there is a restraint system in place to keep them moving around while the bus is in motion. A: They are total crap don't buy I am from London On. Canada & i am on my 6 work order from front to back there has not been on thing they have not worked on but a 6 month warrenty they come with if you buy it via a dealer... Plus I have just come to find out the battery is a right off just finding this out tonight do more checking with other bikes before buying on of these...
