In the tradition of great Italian racing motorcycles we proudly present the 2012 GIO GT Rocket. This 155 cc midi-moto class superbike has been inspired by classic Italian automotive sporting design and is a thrill to ride. Complete with a sleek body design, jet black and racing red styling, racing slick tires and water cooling, this motorcycle was made for the race track. This is a ride that truly stirs the soul, with beautiful aerodynamics and top of the line technology. The assertive poise of the body only hints at the power lying underneath its black sheath. The GT Rocket combines power and handling for the most competitive performance in its class.
The GT Rocket raises the bar in the field of miniature motorcycles. Truly an innovative and unique design, the amazing power-to-weight ratio makes for one of the most intensely fun rides you can experience on the track. This is a track-only bike; it is not street legal. But for midi-moto racing and owners who frequent the race track, the experience is unparalleled. As GIO Engineering dictates, attention to detail and an extremely refined power plant are the key factors in the GT Rocket’s design. The flawless styling is a celebration of Italian-inspired craftsmanship, and is beautiful throughout, from its gorgeous body, stylish wheels and polished internals.

The performance of the GT Rocket is impressive to say the least. The engine is a water-cooled, 155 cc two-valve four-stroke single-cylinder design. The frame is suitable for adults – this bike is not for kids. Considering the huge size of the engine relative to the small, light frame, this bike truly is a rocket! It explodes off the line for some of the most impressive acceleration seen in a motorcycle. And with a top speed of more than 100 km/h you won’t find better performance in a bike of this size. The engine is highly tuned by Loncin and is similar to one you would find in bikes of much larger sizes. With power production of 16 hp, you’ll be wishing at times this bike were slower! In addition to a large bore single cylinder and high performance engine hardware and components, the GT Rocket features extremely efficient water cooling. Water cooling ensures the bike can squeeze every last drop of performance out of its power plant.
The handling of this bike is nimble and responsive. The GT Rocket is made for tight cornering and race-track grade handling. Ripping around challenging courses and pulling ahead of the competition is what the suspension of this bike is designed for. The GT Rocket features high-end racing slick style tires for maximum on-track and on-asphalt performance. A superbly balanced frame was custom-tuned by our engineers for that perfect balance of grip and speed as you hammer out the turns of the track. The racing-red frame features a massive adjustable rear shock-absorber suspension system for responsive back-end feel. Front end shock absorbing forks are also adjustable for precision ride tuning and deliver excellent performance in handling turns. An extremely quick and responsive hydraulic brake system features massive discs on both front and rear wheels. The braking system features a unique double disc front design for increased response time. All the system’s components are tailored to maximum handling and braking performance for faster track times. This banshee of a bike corners like the best of the full-size racing motorcycles out there – you’ll be hugging the track and literally skimming the asphalt.
The transmission features a manual five speed design. The clutch is a wet multi-plate design featuring dura-coat clutch basket fingers for extra durability and lifetime. The close-ratio transmission design and easy to operate controls are perfect for getting the most out of this bike on the race course. The handlebar-level controls feature a responsive and forgiving throttle along with braking levers, choke, and emergency kill. The GT Rocket does not feature electronic ignition, instead relying on kick start.
Gio designed this motorcycle with performance in mind, but the styling really shines on this beautiful black and red bike. The black body kit and seat area feature flowing lines and chrome-grill air vents. Instantly recognizable, the bright red frame stands out on the track – its lightweight stainless steel design is incredibly durable and its innovative design shape saves weight. The elegance and grace of the body kit perfectly complements the jet black stallion color scheme and its powerful lines throughout the bike. Meant to operate and look like a superbike, the GT Rocket achieves this superbly.
The exhaust screams. The GT Rocket at full throttle sounds amazing, a truly hair-raising, throaty roar. The lightweight aluminum exhaust system saves weight and features a single muffler design. The excellent power-to-weight ratio provided by the space and weight-saving optimization is unmatched in motorcycles.
With a modest $3000.00 price tag, the GT Rocket is a great bike to add to your collection, or buy to break into midi-moto class racing. With two or more, you and your friends can enjoy the best racing experience available, with an incredibly safe and forgiving ride. A joy and a thrill to operate, these bikes have to be experienced at least once before you die! But one time won’t be enough, and that’s why it’s so easy to own this amazing piece of machinery.
