for the New 125CC OFF ROAD DIRT BIKE Motocross with 4 Stroke Engine Any Color
Hi, my son is 11 years old and has a crotch height of 27", the 125cc says it has a seat height of 32", can the rear spring be adjusted to bring the bike down to 27" of so?
Thanks
A: Seat cant be adjusted. I think for his height I would go with either 50cc or 110cc 4 stroke dirt bike.

How do I determine measurement for bikes?
I see measurements like 19/16" and 14/12", where are these measurements taken from?
Thanks
A: Posted measurements are crate sizes as it arrives to your door. 125cc dirt bike is mid size bike with 32.5 inches seat height. 19/16 is sort of full size bike but not really. Bike is awesome for starters or girls. 14/12 X33 bike is just above mid size but not mid size. This bike is also great for starters, very cool looking bike. is this bike any good for jumping or flipping... like a lot cause im planning on buying one and i would like to know
A: Is there something wrong with your head? Your first question is about an electric start, now you want to know if the bike is good for jumping. You don't make stunt bikes out of bikes having a battery, DUH! Now if you are 10 years old and weigh 100lbs soaking wet this bike will "jump and flip", the more weight you jump and flip the more likely you are going to break something. Any bike under extreme conditions will require fixing, if you use your head I'm sure you will figure it out. by Reveeen - Moncton, New Brunswick, 02/02/2010 06:07 AM

Has anyone measured the actual displacement of the engine? My friend bought an older model 125 from GIO and it turned out to be 108cc (110cc) the connecting rod is just longer so that it appears to be bigger because the cylinder is taller but the stroke length is still the same. The cylinder even said 124cc on its side, but you can't believe everything you read.
Gio should figure this out because their supplier could be selling them products that have been falsely advertised as 125cc when they are actually 110cc.
To measure your displacement you will need to remove the cylinder head and measure the bore of the cylinder and the stroke of the piston with an accurate measuring device and use the displacement formula. (if you search on Google you will find some automatic displacement calculators)
A: 110cc motors are called 110cc even thou their actual CC is 107. This is what it is. You don't say that Mercedes has 4997cc but rather 5L motor. You should know these things before posting this nonsense "false advertising" . by admin - Vancouver, British Columbia, 02/05/2010 12:22 AM
