I have a 250 K7 buggie, the speedometer was disconnected. There are 3 wires comming from the wheel pick up and 3 wires comming from the speedometer. Are the hooked up directly to eachother? Does the pick up generate its owe power or is there another hot wire required?

I have a 2008 250cc dune buggy,I have no fire getting to the spark plug,I checked the wires going to the coil with a test light and neither one lights up.The cdi box is ok,I even tried suppling power to the positive side of the coil but that didn't work either. In the box where the coil sits there a square plug with 4 wires running into it.But there is no relay in it.Can you tell me what is suppose to go in there, and also what else can I check,to see about getting fire?
A: I think I can help, I had the same problem and looked everywhere for the answer and finally found the problem. Check fist that there are no wires shorted to ground. The top right connector on cdi is hot, the on its imediate left is a kill wire disconnect it the next to that is an exciter should go to motor. The coil active should also be hooked to the cdi. I can send a drawing if that helps? par fixer - , , 12/13/2009 06:45 AM

I saw someone asked what the width was, and the answers are not what i was looking for.... can someone tell me from wheel to wheel what the width is ...and from front to back what the length is. It does not say in the specs all it said was "Dimensions
Vehicle Size Full Size" ..also someone said the width of seating area is 45" but that's not what i want...if someone could get back to me that would be great! Thank you in advance.

On my buggy there is a little indicator telling me when I'm in forward and reverse. My question is when I put it in forward gear it shows an "L" does that mean it has a low gear and a high gear? if so does it shift by itself or is there something I have to do to make it shift to high gear?
Thanks in advance.
A: how fast does your buggy go? par ryanb - , , 10/09/2009 05:53 PM
A: I've only been able to get it to go about 60km/h I had to get the valves reset, new carb plus the new carb tuned to get it to go as fast as it does. Waiting to put in performance parts cause it bogs down in the dirt with me. par corey9212 - Innisfail, Alberta, 10/09/2009 11:50 PM
