NEW FOR 2012, the Gio MS-3 electric scooter is designed for mobile comfort and stable, easy-to-use operation. Everything is sized-up on the MS-3 to make it our most comfortable ride yet, and it is our only scooter to feature three-wheel operation for extra stability. The extra-wide comfort-foam seat can accommodate any size of adult and features arm rests for that added cushiness (they are removable as well). The 500W (peak) brushless motor provides excellent low-end torque and a solid sustained top-speed of 22 km/h. The MS-3 features extra battery capacity, with three lead-acid batteries for generating more low-end power and adding range, up to 50 kilometres on one charge. The MS-3 is also our only scooter to feature a built-in electric reverse mode to make it extra easy to maneuver in tight spaces. The best-in-class turn radius also helps when you need to get through tight spots but can’t leave your seat. Best of all, this scooter is just like a bicycle – no driver’s license, insurance, or gas required! Just charge it and go!

Features are plentiful on the MS-3. It features three headlights for night-time use and is sure to light up whatever is in front of you. All of the handlebar-mounted gauges also light-up for use in the dark, and feature an amp-meter, battery level indicator, high/low-beam indicator, and turn signal indicators. The accessible controls feature high/low-beam headlights, front and rear brake levers, cruise control, horn, and. turn signals. The seat is extra-wide and fully adjustable for front/rear position. Storage is plentiful as well, with fully locking front storage compartment and under-seat flip-up storage compartment. The rear-wheel also locks for added security. As well, a storage tube for a flag, umbrella, or something similar is mounted to the side of the seat. The under-seat storage also features a main breaker switch and battery access, and the MS-3 comes complete with ultra-strong U-Lock and rain storage cover.

The performance features of the MS-3 are excellent, from its three-wheel stability design, to its angle-mounted double-bracket front suspension, to its heavy-duty front drum brake. The rear axle is extra thick for added support, as is the stainless steel heavy-duty frame. The rear frame also features flip-protection wheels to ensure the MS-3 will never flip over backwards. The angled front double-bracket suspension supports extra impact on the front wheel, which features a beautiful 5-spoke chrome rim. The excellent stability, safety, features, range, and performance of the MS-3 make it the perfect choice for adults looking for extra comfort and peace of mind. It is safe for all ages and can make doing daily errands around town easy for anyone. We recommend the MS-3 for all your mobility needs.
