Brand new aluminum 12.5 feet telescoping extension ladder. Stainless-steel spring-loaded bolts inside the rungs lock into place as you extend the ladder. The rungs are made of processed aluminum, and serrated treads feel strong and secure under your feet. Just tug on the locking rings, collapse the rungs down, and it is portable with a 2-1/2-foot, light weight 23-pound ladder. It takes virtually no space to store--put it under a bed, in a closet, in a car trunk--and totes anywhere.

Item Features:

  • Frame & Rungs: Aluminum
  • Connection Material: Steel
  • Extends in 1-foot increments for versatility from 2.5 feet to 12.5 feet (11 different heights)
  • Compact for ease of use and storage
  • Light Weight Approximately 27 lbs
  • Closed Height = 30.3"
  • Load Capacity: 225 lbs
  • Safety Lock
  • Easier to move and store than any regular ladder when it is compact
  • Great for home/building maintenance, waching window, exterior/interior decorating, painting and more.

Is this a 12.5 foot or a 9.3 foot ladder?
A: As you can see by my questions posted below - I ordered 2 of them and they are both 9.3 feet. I contacted customer service and all they said was that "they are 12.5ft ladders" - and now they won't answer anymore e-mails. They are exactly like the picture - each rung is 1 foot and there are 9 of them.

BEWARE .... they are telling you that this is a 12.5 foot ladder but once you receive it, you will find that it is only 9 feet long. Still a good ladder but a little shorter than they claim.
A: This is a 12.5 ft ladder.

I purchased 2 of these 12.5 ft ladders in August and when I extended them and tried to get on my roof they wouldn't reach - My eaves are only 10 feet up. So i decided to measure them and they were only 9 feet 3 inches long. Just look at the picture - each rung is a foot and there are 9 of them. This is a complaint to customer service but becasue this is a question forum I guess my question is .... Where is the other 3.5 feet of my 12.5 foot ladder?

is it approved by canadian safety construction standards?
A: It doesn't have the CSA stickers on it - so I assume it's not.
