The GIO 500W+ electric scooter is the perfect daily commuter for getting to work or doing errands around town. Powered by an 800W peak, 500W continuous brushless electric motor, this scooter has excellent handling and maneuverability and is very zippy and fast for its size. The 48 Volt lead-acid battery system features dual 20AH batteries and will provide 60 kilometers of range on a single charge! The 32 km/h top-speed is more than enough for getting around town on bike lanes, road shoulders, or pedestrian/bike paths. This full-size scooter can fit any adult or large youth and is simple and easy to use. It features heavy-duty front drum brakes and a rear EABS (Electronic Absorption Braking System) which recharges the battery when braking, extending range. The handlebars feature all the controls you expect out of a scooter, including front and rear brake levers, throttle, turn signals, horn, cruise control, high/low-beam headlights as well as large analog gauges and displays.
The stylish design features sleek lines and GIO decals with multiple color scheme options. The comfy ride is accentuated by a comfort-foam seat and front and rear dual-suspension with nitro-gas shock absorbers for that patented silky smooth GIO ride. The beautiful chrome rims are just one of the premium features which also include multiple lockable storage areas with a back-top box, under-seat battery/storage area, and front storage compartment. There is lots of security with lockable rear wheel and ignition, aforementioned locking storage areas, and an included ultra-strong U-Lock. The 500W+ GIO electric scooter is the perfect daily ride to get around any town. Best of all, this scooter is just like a bicycle – no driver’s license, insurance, or gas required! Shipping: Please use shipping calculator to calculate exact shipping cost for each product. Once shipping destination is entered you do not have to enter it again as system will be showing shipping on all auction pages.
Tax: GST 5% is charged for all orders shipping within Canada. PST 6% is charged for BC orders, HST 7% is charged for NB, NS, NL provinces.
Large products such as mid size, full size ATVS, Dirt Bikes, Buggies, UTVs, Scooters, Power equipment are shipped via Day and Ross or VITRAN freight.
All orders that are shipped VIA freight (Day and Ross, Vitran) are shipped for pick up at the nearest depot. For home delivery and tailgate services please add 55.00 CAD. This is offered during checkout process. Please note that home delivery/tailgate fees are freight company fees not GIOBikes's.
All small items such as kids ATVS, Dirt Bikes, parts and accessories are shipped via UPS and will be delivered right to your door. Combined shipping: Shipping will be combined when you order multiple items however it depends which items.
I received my 500W+ Ebike, With major cosmetic damages, broken and craked plastic the covers the bike and aslso severe deep scratches! Gio seems to be ignoring and not responding! Is this commmon? Will Gio replace the broken junk they sent me? Im getting frustrated.
